I bent my lower frame and started to replace it and found more stuff bent and broke. Take a good look at the cast aluminium part at the front where all the tubes connect, mine was cracked and hard to see. Will see if I can find some pics. Fred
worked for me. here is a copy and paste
"Japan" Throttle Lever Conversion
Fits all SR Viper Models
Yamaha has used the same throttle lever on all 4 stroke sleds coming from Japan since 03. When we started putting some miles on our viper last season, the feel of the Viper throttle lever felt...
Asked my dealer about that last year on my 15 and they said most people take the left side off and dont use any. Never had a poblem with both gone on a mountain sled. Fred
I enjoyed my 2010 Phazer MTX ( back up sled to my modded Summit) we would spend hours taking turns trying to high mark up hills. If I could of got a good used or cheap new super I would have done it in a minute. Ended up selling it to get the Viper and have been kicking my self ever since. Fred
I might be wrong but I beleive the 141 is a 3.0 pitch and the 144 is a 2.52 pitch and the 146 is a 2.86 pitch. That would be the problem since I beleive the Yamahas are 3.0. Some one else can chime in and confirm. Fred
Great idea. Or maybe not. The e-mail I got from them was the shocks are designed for the kit. The high end shocks are $1700 for both skid shocks pluss the kit. May still look into getting new rails and shorten the arms for the KMOD in my Summit and trans plant it into the Viper.
I was wanting the good Axis shocks and they said to get the link kit also. I would think w/the turbo I would still be able to pick the front up in the trees and creak bottoms. Thanks Fred
