Before the season started I put a soft start spring 14.5 rollers and a 47/43 helix. While cruising at 30 mph my rpms are around 5000. Are those rpms normal for such a slow speed. Also since riding conditions have sucked around here i haven't been able to do any WOT runs so I have no idea what...
So i am going to put the 14.5 rollers in the primary and possibly a secondary spring from barn of parts. I was also wanting to change the helix to help with upshift to try and gain a little more off the start and through mid range. I am torn between the 47 or 47/43 helix.
If i do go with a one...
I just don't trust the plastic ones, I seen the aftermarket ones that are nice but I would rather spend my money on other mods if I can make something myself. I do some off trial riding and would hate to put a rock or stump through the plastic one
Just wanted to bounce an idea off some fellow nytro owners. When doing my oil change I started brain storming some ideas on how to make my own skid plate. I was think about getting a 12 guage steel plate and drilling four holes in it and mounting it up where old skidplate screws on to. Then...
I seen the mountaintech skid plate you were talking about, I think I can duplicate the short one they have. I am pretty handy with cutting torchs and welders. I am in the process of reinforcing my subframe as we speak.
The list of things I want to do\purchase seems to be growing everyday...
I will be going off the trail alot, that's the main reason I went with an xtx. I do have a skid plate and its plastic but i think its the aftermarket one that you can find on eBay for around 120 bucks. It was on the sled when I bought it so I have no idea who makes it.
I was leaning toward a clutch kit also, either from ulmers or Schmidt bros. They seem like the best mod you can do for the money I have to spend.
I have been reading about engine mods all day today, I am surprised my eyes haven't started bleeding
Hello fellas, first time posting on here as I just picked up a 11 nytro xtx.
I already have skis and steering relocate so now I am moving on to moding for more engine performance. I know what I would like and what works by reading posts on this website but I can't decide which mod to do that is...
