Does Grizzy sell the relocation bracket if so how can I contact him? I have a 2009 RTX 121 I want to install it on. Is the Barn of Parts the same one they look like it.
Looking at a 2009 RTX WITH 12k miles. New track and all oem bearings at 7500. New copper doughnuts and OEM flex joints last year. Trail tank, excel big wheel kit Tuner skis. He bought it with 900 miles on it. What’s a fair price. Said runs and operates perfect. He said $3500. I know prices are...
Once I get out on the lake I can see if it dropped it farther down in rpms which I have a hunch it will. Next step will be lighter weights I have 64oz in it now probably drop down to 62.
It lowers the rpm at cruising speeds. So let’s say 4000 rpms now maybe 50 mph where before 4000 would be 40 mph with stock gear. Basically gives you more top end and lower rpms at cruising speeds. Also the number I gave were for example not factual.
Well I finally put the 24t in and rode it. Seems like I didn’t loose any low end and accelerated awesome. I let off at 82 and was still pulling hard. Can’t wait to get some miles on it. I just rode around a small park to make sure everything was good.
24t was a great upgrade so far. No loss of low end and hit 82 mph like it was nothing had to let off because of an upcoming curve. It was still pulling hard!
Just finished Changing the upper gear to 24tooth today on mine. Can’t wait to try it out. Still want to do the free air box mod and buy thunder products clutch kit.
I’ve watch the Badger come into Luddington many times. I even did a dinner cruise on the 4th of July and watched the fireworks from the deck. That day was like almost 100 degrees and was miserable.
My xf7000 has the 2016 team
Clutch on it and has 64oz weights. I’m looking to up the rpms a couple hundred more it’s around 8600 now so I’m going to try 62oz.
When I bought my sled it already had team clutches on it so I can’t compare. Cannondale recommended to put 62oz weights in it but haven’t done it. I’d like to find a stock set of 62oz weights like he recommended but not sure sled with team clutches ran that weight.
