Thinkin about getting on the asphalt with the Nytro, who here has tried it and what can a person expect for et's. Does a person need a cool down cart or can the fan be wired to run on a switch to keep it cool like a bike?
After pondering about how much oil I'm gonna be losing when the sled is on it's lid on my upcoming trip I came up with this idea. Keep in mind I have VERY LITTLE room to mount much of anything. I used a 350 ml bottle for now till I shift a few things and a cheap autmotive breather on the end of...
For some of you with cold hands I can assure you these old 06 Apex bars and warmers work. It was -27 Celcious ( -47 windchill) here in Saskatchwan today.
My sled with the warmers at half was more then sufficiant to keep the hands toasty. My friend on his MTX with no handguards also runs the...
Some members were emailing this past month about building a aluminum protector to keep snow and debris away from their rear mount turbos. I finally bent one up this week and installed it. Its fastened to the metal cross bar at the top rear of the tunnel and also rivited to the side of the...

Well , got it out today. All I can say is, Dave at Powderlites has an awesome product here. I rode the mc express nytro last year and I though that was insane but did have lag in my opinion. Todays testing put my mind at ease in that respect, this thing destroyed the track outta the hole...
For you guys extending an existing fx shorty, here are CR RACING's drop down brackets to raise the backend of the sled up abit. And a few other pics of the semi finished sled.
Got my 2008 Nytro going and man this thing seems to run HOT. Thermostat is not stuck and no air locks with all hoses hot and rad hot with fan running. I can see that the turbo is gonna make it runner hotter but you guys with the nytros are you seeing a huge temp increase? I may have to add...
Just wondering if there is anything to worry about when running a turbo sled ( 08 Nytro) on the pavement in the summer heat. Will the turbo get too hot? Hate to wreck a brand new turbo system.
Well went up North and put 60 or so miles on in deep snow, winding trails and major moguls. First off, the traction, and I mean TRACTION. The 144 x 1.75 hooks REAL hard. The sled is almost too violent. Downside the topend seems down. I didn't have a long enough distance to see but will check...
Here is the somewhat finished 144 rail kit from Ulmer. The rails needed a few mods to make it work but here's what it looks like semi- finished. I also installed wahl bros 9 tooth anti-ratchets with a 144x1.75 backcountry track. This track is sweet!!!

Anybody else notice alittle snow and debris in the clutch area? It hasn't seemed to effect the clutching yet for me but when a buddy rode through some DEEP powdered banks he figured the belt had slipped on him. I'm wondering if a person should prefilter the hood vent on the clutch side
Went out again today, let the kid tour it around most of the day ( to get miles on it) while I watched from the truck. During the periods he came back to the truck to warm up ,I took it for some rips. The sled while indicating 104 on the speedo is doing 97 so the speedo is definitly out...
So, coming off a Pol where I had to cut 2 inches off the front of the skid , how bout this nitro fx, are we gonna have to cut the rails at all ? Anybody done it yet?
According to Amsnow, Woody's Performance ran the new Nytro " on the 1/4 mile "mostly stock" and ran a 10:85 @ 114. The sled is lookig impressive so far!
