Well, I've got a Polaris IV coming. It's a 159 x 2.125. Going to order a set af Avid 8 tooth drivers soon. Does anyone know what tunnel extension i should use? Tracks USA has the rail extensions for going 144 to 159 so I should be good there. Any other advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for the replies! If I can get a 151-159 on there with some sort of rail extension, I'm most likely gonna go longer and deeper than a 144/1.75 track. I got WAY spoiled with my 155/2.4 on the RMK and it ran the trail just fine. I have a set of new sidekicks with carbide scratchers to go on...

Which size driver will I need? Have any others done track changes to their ventures?

Just checked mine this weekend on my 08 Venture GT. One is frayed and broke in half and the other is ready to let go. Glad I found this out before the other one let loose. Suspension is at the factory setting. 1300 miles on the sled. :o|

I'll tell ya, I'd rather freeze than be seen behind that windshield. One other thing I am a little bummed about is the fact that the rear seat is not removable. Did a trip to Hulbert this year on my 08', removed the seat and backrest and installed Yamaha's bag that fits in there, it was awesome...

Just a suggestion Hondo... Why not wait until 2010 and make sure there are no bugs with the new engine? I mean, hell, what's another 10,000 miles on the 05 gonna hurt. Just an idea.
