Here is a little project that I have going this summer. I wanted to try a new Ice Attack XT - 1.22 - Ripsaw II Lug Design track this next year and what better way then to stretch the 128 to a 136 and make it a LTX. I will post some progress pics as I go through the stages of the build.
So far I wanted to just rip her down and start fitting the tunnel extension and rail extensions as well as dismantle the skid for Powder Coating. Half Baked will be doing all the powder coating on the suspension arms for mono as well as the front A arms on the sled.
I figured as long as the sled has 3200 miles on it I may as well get the mono rebuild and valved. That will be sent out to Pioneer for some valving to compliment the skid change and maybe even improve the ride.

As you can see I ripped the skid down and started to add the billet machined Tracks USA rail extensions to the 128" rails. They sure make some nice extensions. The only holes that were not provided are the track tension adjuster mount holes. I located them off the rear wheel guide mount holes 2 5/8" (See Pic)

That's the same track I'm going with Tom, only in a 144".
Looking forward to the rest of the build.

Here are some progress picks on the extension. I put the skid together as far as I could until arms come back from Power Coating at Half Baked. I finally remove the heat exchanger and mounted the tunnel extension. Currently working on fitting the new LTX cooler in the rear and making the new tunnel protectors so they extend all the way to the 136 tunnel extension.

I installed the modified LTX heat exchanger, then modified a set of LTX tunnel protectors, installed both and fit the hose covers back onto the tunnel. Next I will install the new track. That will be about as far as I can go until I get the Powder Coated Parts.

Pulled the gear case apart, changed bearings and seals and reinstalled the new track.
