Regina man dies in snowmobile crash
A snowmobile crash on Saskatchewan's Last Mountain Lake has killed a 32-year-old Regina man, RCMP said.
The snowmobile slammed into a truck that was driving on the frozen lake just before 2 p.m. CT on Saturday, Cpl. Greg Smith said.
The snowmobile driver was pronounced dead at the scene, Smith said, and his male passenger was taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.
The truck's occupants were not injured.
Smith said that police are unsure what caused the collision, and that weather conditions were clear at the time it happened.
RCMP did not identify the man who died.
The southern tip of Last Mountain Lake is about 60 kilometres north of Regina.
