After and filter change my 08 Apex starts and runs fine but the display is dead. I've checked the connection on the back of the gauge cluster and it seems ok. The headlights work ok too. Any guidance before I pull the nose apart again?

Well if it was working OK before and you have no reason to suspect direct electrical damage to it then you have to go over all the wiring that was disturbed during the filter change. Did you jump start it recently?

OK. Open the display up and check if ZD1 is shorted.

I'm going to check the power going into the display Wednesday, if all ok I'll bring it to work and have a look at the diode.
