i still have the ecu for my old fx nytro sitting in the garage . Is it possible to send it out have it flashed and it work for my sidewinder ?

No it will not work like that. Just because it looks similar does not mean the internals will work.

Does the ECU keep track of engine running hours, miles ...? If you were to switch out the ECU when the sled is new with another one could you go back to stock by replacing back to the original ECU to remain under warranty if you were to sell the sled or will the time and mile's on the sled not match up with the ECU?
