My 136 Conversion and Track Cutting. Updated for 2011

That looks really good :pics: I am debating between coating my rails black like that or polishing them to get a nice shine. I polished my tunnel so i think i might just polish the rails not too sure yet though.

Thanks guys. My camera died so i'll get some more pics this weekend.

Don't know how the hand gaurds work yet just got them a few weeks ago. Hopefully get to try them out soon!

The rear bumper will be getting the same treatment = black. I have a MTX rear bumper that i am going to shorten some once i strech the tunnel.

Yamahas - I'm with ya on the polishing look is sweet just the up keep is what makes me go the black route on the rails. I'd like to see a pic of your tunnel because i still might to mine.

by the time i got my my raiser i finally figured out how to do it properly!

Cell phone pictures do not make it justice, It looks much better in person.

Looks Great! Looks like you added two where i should have while it was out. Where you added the shims i didn't have shims so i machined the lips of material down so it would give the same results as the shims. The lower linkage is as tight as it can be but i still have about a half an inch of slop at the bars due to the other linkages. Just enough to bug me.

I have to take pictures of my tunnel extension. I added about eight inches to the tunnel and shortened up a MTX grab bar to match up. Then i powdered it all black. Turned out prett nice.

They supply grease to the needlebearings on the longer shaft.Yes I agree the other little hiems and tierod ends are sloppy Also.I need to get two more but I believe the old style YFZ tierod ends will be a direct replacement for our unsealed inner ones.Mine are not only sloppy but rusty!

Yes!They will fit.All three.Taper is same and It sure looks like threads are the same.Might have to slightly shorten the rods though since head is so much bigger.Kind of scary what we are running with.Reason YFZ got bigger thread at rod in newer ones is because the old ones like shown snapped fairly easily. But either way still better than our Phazer ends.I believe 04,05 YFZ had this size. Our Chinese end is on the left and bottom.

Wow! That is significantly better! So the newer YFZ tie rod ends now have bigger threads where that one snapped? If so i wonder if we could find larger universal joints that would work at the spindles and make some larger diameter tie rods.
