YEP weird,, why does my belt squeal on idle? once i move no noise, change belt and did same thing. brand new YAMAHA belts.

It's more than likely a dirty bushing in your clutch.

Give it (the belt that is) a good rub with some Sotchbrite in some warm soapy water.

on the back of the clutch there is 3 8mm bolts. remove them, remove the 3 washers, and reinstall the bolts. this will spread the clutch and loosen the belt. right now the belt it too tight and is rubbing on the clutch shaft at idle. that's what we do whenever a belt squeels. might work for you

If this squealing is only at idle, started right after you put a new belt on, then it likely is as the guys say, that the belt is a hair tight at this time due to not all belts are created equal. As the guys say, the quick fix is to take the belt off, take the secondary off and remove the three little bolts in the back of the sheave and remove the washer from each, and put the bolts back in at 7.2 foot/lbs.. This will allow the belt to drop down slightly between your sheaves eliminating the squealing. Chances are, that the stock washer you are taking out measures 1.0 thickness. If you don't want to drop the belt quite that far down, you can actually order 3 washers from the dealer that are .5 thickness which may be even better and likely still get rid of the squealing. Then as your belt wears you can put the original "fat" washers back in. The part number for the half thickness washer plate is 90201-061H1-00, about $1.65 each. Torque on the bolt that holds secondary on is 46 ft. lbs.. Remember that when you pull the secondary off, keep all your washers and other parts in order. I push a paint stirrer(is that a word?) into the bolt hole and slide everything on to it.
