Anybody no what would be the max.boost(with head shim) you can run with stock nytro rods
(excluding any fuel, det.problems.)

I can only comment on turbo Nytro's that are used in the mtns. Know lots of people that run 17lbs of boost on a stock engine, only part that was added was a head shim. Lots of them are over 5000 to 10,000kms of boost also. I have seen a few head shims blow out, starting to think aftermarket head studs would be a good idea.

We don't sell the shim without studs.

The stock rods should be good up to 320hp.
18-22 psi, depends what turbo you are running.
