Power Mods= Ulmer HI-Flow Intake, Ulmer Muffler Mod, 135studs
Clutch Kit= Ulmer
Belt= 8DN

Weights= Heel: T-2, Mid: 0, Tip: 1-0
Helix= K
Primary Spring= OPO
Secondary Spring= Black
Wrap= 6-2
Machined for overdrive=
Machined for 8DN length belt= Yes
OSP Deflection Adjuster w/plate removed= NO
RPMS at engagement Recall or Indicated= 3000 +/-
RPMS at top speed and top speed Recall or Indicated= 8950
Miles on sled= 1,017
Observations: Last year, before I added the Hi-Flow Intake, Muffler Mod and had machined for 8DN (I was running the 8DN shimmed last year) the best I got was 92mph @8800 rpms but was a dog in the mid. This year, first run only got 8350 rpm but pulled 96mph on plowed road. Made clutching changes to go with the hi-flow intake and mod muffler and machined for 8DN and we now have it at 8900-9000 rpms. Feels pretty strong down low and in the mid. Still need conditions and area to see if she gained any top speed now that rpms are at 8900+.

Miles on sled=4500
Observations: Sled is studded. If the track spins it revs right up and goes really well to 90 and starts hitting rev limiter after that. If the sled hooks up only revs 8300 until about 70mph and revs to 8900 or so and pulls like a train to 90. Top speed on plowed rd. 99mph I need to fine tune it so it pulls rpm down low when it hooks up.

Miles on sled=410 miles
Observations with the COTC with 3.5 grain rivits in the tip was 8700 rpm at max 81mph. Talked with Stingray719 about setup for yellowstone and he told me to take the 3.5 rivots out and the 7mm shims in the primary spring. WOW what a difference! ! Running with no rivots in the weights now at 710 sea level with 2mm shims its 0 to 70 in 100-150yds and 8800 to 8900 rpms at that distance. Now with the 7mm shims in alls I can say is hold on...not great top speed but corner to corner put a big fricking smile on my face!
Thank you for the imput from this forum.
Big thanks to Stingray719

RPMS at top speed and top speed Recall or Indicated= 9150
Miles on sled= 230
Observations: no studs, running Ice Screws in all the lug tips, track is cut down to 1.25". Stock gearing. Sled pulls good, on occasion it bounces Rev limiter out of the hole once or twice then backs to 87/88 and creeps to 9200. Low belt dust. Only have seen 112, twice on hard pack no ice and that took a while to get there. 107 in 1/4 mile on a plowed road on the lake. I would have thought it would pull better mph than that.. but corner to corner on the trail (25 to 80) it's a monster! I have tried a couple different locations with washers, but on the trail this seems to be working. I would like to try a higher top gear and see what that does.
Stock it pulled 96 mph with less than 100 miles on it.

1-13-15 update:
Rode today, added 1 wsher to the middle location (76.5grams total) and I was still bouncing limiter evertime I stabbed it. So I guess I'll be adding more weight!! I think its braking in nicely and building more and more power! No new mph runs, as we didnt have any good stretches.

Observations: Hitting rev limit from standing still, but then laying spot on 8800-9000 in 1m snow and on trail. Dont hitting the limit when driving at 30mpg and giving the matchine WOT, 85 mph, havint try it for top speed because of the track and lugg.
Gooing to try the 21/49 gearing to see any improvment.

RPMS at top speed and top speed Recall or Indicated=116 mph at 8900 indicated
Miles on sled=3000-3500
Observations:8jp and 8dn posted quicker times on radar and had more fun factor, 8jp belts didn't hold up, 8dn held up well. Gates carbon belt would get too grippy for trail riding and pulled down rpm. Gates belt posted consistently faster top speeds but sacrificed a bit low end, 116 mph with gates belt and 21/41 gearing on an ltx at 6 #'s of boost w/ 250+ pound rider on a smooth trail at 10.5 on afr gauge. Engagement is very low and smooth, excellent back shifting and very responsive on and off the throttle. 1/4-1/2 throttle will cruise all day at 70-80 mph, wide open on trails with the power of the turbo is dangerous!

RPMS at engagement Recall or Indicated=2800-3000
RPMS at top speed and top speed Recall or Indicated=8800 rpm, 95+ mph climbing but ran out of room
Miles on sled=1700
Observations:Best set up by far, no rev limiter issues, 14-15mpg, pulls awesome, very controllable down low for getting in and out of trailer. Only small issue I haven't investigated is twice in 300 miles I had a squeal where it sounded like belt was stuck lower in primary after a stop sign and taking off again. last year best mph was 97 on plowed road but was hitting limiter. Will post again when I get a gps verified 100 which has been my goal all along to prove this sled can do 100 with only simple and cheap clutch mods.

Miles on sled= ~1600 Miles
Observations: Sled takes off like a bat out of hell, May even tap the limiter but if so, just briefly. Hits a wall at 85 MPH and RPMS could fall back as far as 8000 depending on conditions.

RPMS at top speed and top speed Recall or Indicated=9000 on clean trail, 8800 on snow
Miles on sled=2,000
Observations: Switch to Gates belt cured belt slip and lowered rpm resulting from belt slip. Best set up for on trail / off trail days without loss in performance in either condition. launch and pull through mid range are very strong. Can lift the skis at will low end and mid range, and get good weight transfer through the entire range. 90 MPH range most every where (except heavy snow), and 100+ on long pulls at WOT on good conditions.

Miles on sled=2500kms
Observations: Extremely happy with overall set up In crappy conditions top speed gets affected by 15kms/h. Did hit rev limiter a few times so may add a bit of weight to tips
Love the bottom end snap pulls way harder then my wife stock zr7000(with sandales pipe)
