It was an 800’ run on groomed snow. Very loose conditions as it was cold and the snow didn’t pack very well. It was groomed previously but the conditions got worse during the event.
Top speed 105 mph. With my TD tuned BTX sidewinder running max spool 17 and Thunder Products Big Venom Kit. I only ran 660’ as I rolled out then put the hammer down so I wouldn’t spin. This was my off trail setup and I was also out of gear at that speed. Next fastest was a Flannery built triple 860ish motor in a Polaris 99 mph. Next was a Priceless Built F7 running Nos. 93mph. An apex and a stock winder were at 91 mph. Fastest 850 doo was 88mph. Stock viper other than clutching was 84mph and everything else was below that. Viper out ran all the 800’s that were there all brands. Viper was also running Thunder Products clutching. Was a fun day. Would have liked to have had taller gears.

Shagman Congrats! what gears are you running?
I am running 26/44 in the 15 XTX with the stock 8 tooth 3.0 Driver and 1.6" Camoplast track.
It is wicked on the launch but still has top end well into the 120's. I took 3rd overall at the Gogebic radar runs at 110.6 mph in 660' in very loose snow conditions. I missed the 1000' ice track runs at the weenie roast this weekend because I broke the 4th wheel off the rear axle on Friday morning and did not have the spare 1 with me.
My drag sled 14 XTX has 28/42 gears with 10 tooth 2.52 144" x 1" Hacksaw with 288 picks (143 mph supposedly) but it would not hook up on the snow track this weekend still throwing rooster tail at the end or the run.

I am 26/48 gearing 8 tooth 3” pitch 153” track cut to 1.7, no studs. This was also a very loose groomed snow. Track speed at 105 on radar was 119mph. I was out of gear way before the radar gun by my log on sled.Shagman Congrats! what gears are you running?
