Slydog Powderhounds with Bergstrom Triple Points Set-up

I purchased bergstrom 8" triple points with ski-savers and some shims for my Slydog Powderhounds. Bergstrom said some guys are shimming the front and others are shimming the back. What is everyone doing or what are the pro's and con's to either? I'm running a 136" attak, 1-1/4" ripsaw and no studs.

Before you take your old stuff off look and see where the wear is. Most skags wear towards the front so you put the spacer on the back to push it down and lift front up. Just did mine on can't wait to try it out.
