Buy a spare belt clip and mount it here

I placed mine in a zip lock bag and bungeed it in place below the clutch's. The reason it is in a bag is to keep it free of clutch dust.

They do fit in that extremely oversized pouch on the tunnel too.

Just Tuck on top of shield. This one has ridden there for 4000km.

or wrap it around your fuse re-locate.

Frees up the trunk bag for other things.

thats how i did mine. I made a bracket right off the belt shield fits great. To bad yamaha wouldn't spend an extra $1 on a belt clip!
