I took the skid wheels off my 250 ET and it went faster than my 300.

I took the wheels off my 99 Phazer it was way smoother and faster..but ate the slides..

You put wheels on a ski doo sno x race sled and it kills all performance...

I only leave mine on the STX so it saves the slides

I agree. That has always been true. Others have said adding wheels helps this chassis. I did not find that to be true. Didn't do anything for me. Will take those all off next year RJH.

On a trail Yamaha you may eat the slides with the wheels off..for the the wave reason you mentioned.. that happened to my Phazer...
