VIN number on yamaha grizzly

sorry about posting this on this side instead of the atv forum but i searched over there and couldent find any thing. so heres the problem. im trying to find the sticker on my 2007 700 grizzly that has the VIN and the date of manufacture. except for removing all of the plastics i have checked all exposed parts of the frame. i need to take it to canadian tire for an inspection and they need to see this sticker. i should also mention that its a US model but i think the sticker should be in the same place for any country.

On a 02 it is by the shifter on the frame dont know if it is in the same place on the 07.

i tryed pulling the side pannels off to uncover the engine compartment and still no sign of the VIN number

the vin is on the frame behind the front left or right tire. not sure witch side. but you need to remove the two bolts on the fender guard to see it

thanks ecopter that was perfect. they sure hid it well. its behind the left front tire partially hidden by the skid plate. thaks alot
