Did anyone else have problems with the steering post making contact with the 2nd horn once it is assembled? Thanks!

My bubby has the same pro. u would think they wood come up with something beter than that fit and finish not to good its like an after thought or some thing

You need to angle the middle filter down slightly more if you are hitting the steering post.

As for the fit and finish, yes it does not look factory, but if you take your time to install it, you can make it fit nicely. The setup performs very well and that is what we were after when designing the kit.

allen is correct u have to have the center filter angled down for it all to work correctly... as stated fit and finish sucks but, I guess they see it as if it works leave it alone....

Mine is making contact as well,Wish it would have mentioned in the instructions to angle the second filter down, hate the thoughts of pulling the middle filter off again..im hoping that my OFT relocator
will give me some more clerence from the shaft as well.

Don't want to step on anyones toes.... But... K-n has a tappered filter (2570 ?) That works very nice.

Same problem here even though it is angled a little. I wouldn't worry much about it. Just a little black marks on the steering post which is no biggy imo

my biggest concern was the steering poat would wear a hole through the pre-filter material after prolonged use.

Mine has been on there for 2 years and so far the pre filter is still in excellent condition. I think that material is alot stronger then you or I would expect.

After getting all the parts, the center filter fits fine.

I have the relocator from OFT and there is plenty of room.

I copied bottlerockets system and it is now very stable. Here is a picture that shows how the 3 horns are supported with the bracket.
