08 RTX - Avid Drivers - Trim Rails?

I'm putting 9 tooth avid drivers on my 08 RTX.

Am I going to need to trip the rails or rail caps or is this only a problem on 09 XTX (seems like the case due to my searches)?

I just put Wahl Bros 9-tooth drivers on my sled. There's a good 3-4 cm of clearance between the drivers and the rail end. You can disconnect the shocks and move the skid through its range of motion to be certain there's enough space. It all looked good to me though.

I think there may be a problem with the XTX because of the reduced approach angle of the skid as this pushes the rail tips out a little farther.

Thanks for this. I'm not going to worry about it then. I never thought to look before I took the skid out.
