I was looking at the coloured ones and the only difference in the part number was the colour indication so I assume they would be the same. I did hear somewhere though that the newer skis are about 1/2 an inch smaller than the first set of turners produced. I just bought a pair and mine were...
Another thing I use is a GoldPlug. This way it pulls any filing to the magnet so they are not floating around in your oil. This way I clean off anything that has been picked up at the oil change. Just one more thing to keep the oil cleaner...
Ya if you already have the seat off you are almost there anyway... and the donuts are something you could change yourself even saving a few bucks. Go with the copper ones, they cost a little more but will last way longer. Basically once you get the tank off there is 4 screws holding on a plate...
Correct - wire colours are the best reference, not location.

There is notes all over that the location of the relays differs from sled to sled... I changed out one already but I am changing all 3 over to the newer red ones on my sled.
Heat exchanger helped me out greatly. I was getting the temp light all the time, now with the heat exchanger in I pretty much never get it. I also have water wetter mixed in as well to help some more too.
Another thing you could get which is probably going to cost you less than $10 is get a 4 stroke exhaust plug. I went and picked one of these up one day after buying a bunch of sled parts for a friend and the guy at the parts counter looked at me real weird for a minute when I asked him for the...
I think most people around here would recommend OFT's re-locator. Its slightly more but it has oilite bushings which has oil impregnated in them so they self lubricate, the ebay one does not have bushings. Personally I went with just their steering blocks as I was looking to get rid of the...
Well after some reading last year and talking to my dealer I started using the Ring Free additive. Its suppose to reduce the ethanol sulfate salt left by ethanol fuel. From what I heard is people can tell the difference when pulling an engine apart that has used is vs those that didn't.
If you need any parts check out chippewamotors.com They are just up the road a bit in Sault Mi. I buy from them all the time, and they have a discount code web1 that gives 15% off.
Usually they are pretty good at getting parts in quick and if they don't have things in stock at the warehouse...
Agreed, don't waste your time with that little fix, get a real skid plate. I hit a bunch of things last year and I am surprised there were no dents in mine. I ended up getting the full skid plate to protect the whole subframe from damage.
I just took mine out and it went out the oil side nice and easy. I had to loosen one of the zip ties holding a cable but after that it slipped out.
Since I had it out I just ordered some UNI Filter UFV-6 air vents to add to the top of the lid to add some more airflow and cold air.
The HID lights which are available from the dealers make quite a difference too over stock. If you don't have those yet I would maybe give him a try.

Ya second pair of hands and you should be able to do it without having to remove it or to remove rivets. I had my friend help me and we just had to loosen the pipe so it would slide back a bit more, but we were able to squeeze in the new ones without any damage to them.
If you are going to go...
