i put a mono susp in the wifes 05 vector 121" you would need the 2 front mounting brackets they will line up with the rivet holes that are there I can,t think if I changed the rear , much better ride for her , I did have it beefed up it has been in there maybe 5 years , it was a easy swap.
did it run low on coolant and you had to add a lot.
you may have air in system , lift rear of sled , run sled , remove plug in rear crossover to get air out then reinstall small plug.
yes it will hold up fine , the main thing to do is the beef up kit . i have 3 of them never had a problem once the beef up kit was done.
make sure you adjust your transfer rod right.
don,t use starting fluid , just get a squirt can and fill it with gas spray into carbs while starting , once it starts turn it off put your air box on properly and you are ready to go.
don,t add oil through the engine just add into the oil tank , as far as coolant if you drained the coolant out for the repair you will have to bleed the air out , lift back of sled run it and bleed the air from the tube in the back (there is a bleed screw on it ) the collant tank has a line for...
on the vector the pilots are bigger than say the rx1 they don,t plug as easy , i think the is 45 pilot you need to put in 50 let it warm 2-3 minutes longer when cold sled should be fine.
i think that is the pilot # just look at your chart for stock & go to next size. the vector will respond...
if i were you guys i would start with stock parts in the clutch & secondary , & work from there , you could have diff parts in ther that don,t match , stock is smooth.
with your belt their is adjustment behind secondary , if new belt you may need to adjust it.
once you let off it will backfire at low rpm if you don,t watch it it will shut off , then you start it , it will run fine till the next time. when you change the switch let us know if it worked for you , it sure fixed mine.
