Thanks folks. I think that this track and ski upgrade will be in the cards for me the fall. I have done a lot of reading about it and people seem very pleased with that track.

the mount connects by way of 6 Bolts, so have to drill holes in the tunnel. But solid as a church.

there is two aluminum pieces that run the length of the tunnel that are closer to the center and leave a few inches between them and the end of the tunnel. There are enough holes on the adapter plate that you could drill holes and bolt them directly to the tunnel with no fear of the coolers...

Yup, I think you could do that very easily if you wanted to. I didnt consider that option at all, i'm quite happy having the gap in between the metal of the tunnel and the bottom of the gas can/bag.

thanks folks. the bumper is the yamaha factory accessory, nothing fancy, but makes a great difference. as for the linq stuff, i ordered the up north technologies rack and their linq adapter plates. already have one installed on a buddies xf7000 and the setup is second to none.

Picking this up today. Coming with HIDs, bumper, skid plate, ice scratchers, spare belt, deluxe cover, new helmet and some yamabucks. I have the up north technologies tunnel rack and the linq has can and bag to install when she's home. Yeeeehaw

great to hear, i went blue and white as well buck keeping it stock outside of some accessories (rack, belly pan, etc) anyhow, ill keep you posted on the seat situation on this end, but im not expecting delivery until november.
