    Front Skid Shock

Not a res shock, but Carver Performance (and others) offers a Fox Zero Pro center shock that he valves to your specs that fits the Nytro.

    Nytro rear end issues

Could you take some pics of what you found, and a few angles of the skid as well and post them on here?

    Nytro Spindle Bushing Upgrade

Thanks for the update. I replaced my sloppy bushings with his kit a couple seasons ago. Excellent quality - they're holding up great.

what is the advantages between the hygear triple vs the duo?

From what Hygear told me, the only difference between the triple rate & double rate is that the smallest spring on the triple can be/is used for ride height adjustment if desired, as it compresses rather easily. It's a negative preload spring. In other words, if you want to lower the front end...

Looking for input, code 46, battery not charging.

Here's where I'm at with this - the stator had continuity to ground, pulled the side cover off, and visually confirmed a slightly cooked stator: 20171230_114420 by MrChetStuart posted Jan 2, 2018 at 7:25 PM 20171230_114436 by MrChetStuart posted Jan 2, 2018 at 7:25 PM So, before I...

Looking for input, code 46, battery not charging.

A 10 minute battery tender top off says that your battery was already charged, and if it started right up after that, then your starter relay is the most likely culprit. After a couple of seasons of random starting issues, a new relay on my XTX solved similar random issues like that for me a...

Made a tunnel block off plate

Yes, when I did the MT tunnel cooler I drained and replaced with new coolant. It's really more of a torched plastics issue that bugs me every time I/we stop, and the inevitable "I can smell someone's belt/hyfax/something burning" comments when there's anyone behind me in the pack that just...

Looking for input, code 46, battery not charging.

Thanks for your reply. As I mentioned, I didn't inspect wiring harnesses yet. I will absolutely take an extra few hours and trace the various harnesses and see if there's any damage just to be sure, regardless of whatever else I do. I've read about a couple of possible problem areas where...

Made a tunnel block off plate

Not sure, but there was plenty of gap all around the top, probably not 1" at the rear, but there was a gap at the rear as well. I may revisit it in the off season again, as it did help (but not eliminate) the icing problem.

Where to buy a new track?

Tracks USA - good prices, fair shipping, and they get your order on the way promptly. I've bought several tracks from them over the years, and have always been more than happy with my experience with them.

Made a tunnel block off plate

Nice job - that looks great! I did something similar a couple of seasons ago, literally just removed it an hour ago after trying to deal with torched plastics/burning plastic smell since I put it in, as too much heat got trapped under the seat with the block off in place/no snow hitting the...

The backstory: Last week I was riding my 09 Nytro XTX, have 12,500mi on the sled. First real ride of the season, one short 40 miler around home the week prior, no issues then. Sled started fine in the morning, about 25 miles into the ride, I see the yellow light flashing, accompanied by code...

Help with first time opening chain chase

Gotcha, I understand what you're talking about now - misinterpreted the impact gun & puller comments. If you achieved some movement on the retainer, maybe spray some penetrating oil on the newly exposed area and tap the retainer back on if it will move that way, then use the puller again. If...

Help with first time opening chain chase

This is from memory, so don't take it as fact, but I'm 99% sure you're barking up the wrong tree (and maybe even damaging some things along the way here). That bolt is, essentially, an assembly aide more than anything else. It doesn't bear any load, and while you do need to remove it to get...
