Hadn't seen my idea mentioned yet. Why not use the Vector chassis(Japan), and drop in the Turbo 998? Maybe offer variable (beginner, trail, sport) boost/ tune for the more traditional trail runners?
Re Cadillac SRX: I just read somewhere, that this was the last year for the SRX model from Caddy? Thought at the time, maybe,just maybe, Yamaha may use it again!
So, Yamaha's corporate position seems to be, building an improved propulsion system for a "snowmobile" as we know it, is too difficult a task to even attempt? Maybe give the job to Elon Musk.
