I wired up blue/red together on my first one a few yrs ago, transferred bar to a different sled then sold it. Never had a problem that way in probably 3-4 seasons. Got another set of rsi warmers and I am putting back on that first sled this weekend and will wire the same way I did the first one
i am not too impressed with klimate gloves, mine have holes in them after 1 1/2 seasons. i thought they would hold up better so i dont plan on getting their gloves again!
i had a 144X2 track, geared down 18T top. all rivets out in weights, pulled limiter straps up 1 hole. and it definately did not perform good at all. it would go good on the flat ground, but any kind of incline you could pretty much forget about it unless it was all tracked up. rode it for 2 days...
2" will fit, i just put an older challenger on mine. Just whack them protectors off. I geared mine down to a 18 T top gear. I just beat an 08 summit 800 146X2.25 when we ran em up to around 70..
dont hit anything with em. i broke mine with not even 100 miles on. it was the back outside, however that breaks i dont know. they wouldnt warrranty it either.
as of a month ago, they did not have power commander mapping. I asked them about the fuel controller if it was mapped using any intake on or what and this is what tim barker said "the controller is a Dobeck style that EHS Racing and I developed for our exhaust systems. It will add 6 hp over not...
Yes it does seem to crank slow. 270 rpms when its outside and cold.. but it has a brand new battery in it. what is everyone elses cranking at? I got it back from the dealer after they put injectors in it. It starts really good now. I hope it stays like that, but id like to see the sucker crank a...
They said injectors leaked down, they talked to yamaha and thats what they thought it was. So they are going to replace injectors. Is there any way i would be able to get yamaha to cover some of this, even though its not under warranty? I have no idea how many hours they have into...
Ok i might need some help again. Heres what happened when i brought it in to the dealer. He said the idle was set way too high, it wouldnt drop from 3000 even when warm. I warmed it up for like 5 minutes and set idle to 1700. so how would it change if i just put the airbox back on and took it...
X2. not that i really care about fuel economy, but b4 i put this muffler on i had a hard time getting 16-17 mpg when driving as nice as possible, best ive got after was 20. throttle response (which did get significantly better) and motor is too much fun to be worried about milage tho.
I havent drove the sled yet, i just bought it this fall. im thinking it will only do it when it is first started in the morning. should be ok after that i think. tapping the throttle doesnt seem to make a difference.
I will have to check again, but i dont believe my injectors leak fuel when priming. it just dumps over the regulator to return. I dont have gauges to test pressure.. but i did put my nytro fuel pump on to try once and it did seem to start a little faster. When i removed injectors from throttle...
ive done some looking into mine for the same deal your talking about, cranks for a long time and doesnt even try to fire. I think ive narrowed it down to a fuel/timing issue. I took the airbox off and squirted a little gas in the throttle bodies as i started to crank and it popped right off. so...
If you just bought it why not try it how it already is and see if its enough for you? Im not sure how the carbon fiber bars are but i would think they would hold heat better then the stock ones? If it doesnt work as good as you want, change it then. if they arent wired red and blue together...
im waitin for the camera battery to charge up then ill take a video of it and get it up here tonight. it doesnt seem to make a difference if i let the fuel pump cycle once or 10 times. Its returning fuel right away. but i will cycle a few times for the vid.
Dealer said my sled did not need the cold start kit, and even if it did, i couldnt get it because they arent available anymore. i have a hard time believing this. and i have a very hard time believing that starting a 4 stroke fuel injected motor should take over 8 seconds to try and start. if...
I just picked up an 07 phazer with 3100 miles. Sled was warmed up when I looked at it and started just fine. against my better judgement as to walk away if its warm. After driving 3.5 hours after work to look at it. I took a chance with it thinking hey its a 4 stroke fuel injected yamaha, it...
you need the cr9ekB. I just went through this on accident tonight actually.. $27 oops. It ran with the cr9ek but the terminal is not making a good connection in the coil. you will need the solid to make a good connection. You can tell if you have the coil out and just try put the plug into the...
