    YCC-I ?

High RPM - high frequency - short wave length Low RPM - low frequency - long wave length You want to use the compression wave to squeeze in some extra molecules of air before the valve shuts. If you have a constant length, this effect can only be used at a certain RPM, usually where you have...

some 09 stuff from yami site KINDA

QCRider, morrisond and other torque fans: Did you do the same in your physics classes as I did in my english classes - sleep? ;) Hp at the speeds that you're running is what matters. If you get it through high torque and low rpm, or low torque and high rpm doesn't matter at all. Well...

Heard a little 09 rumor yesterday.....

I've seen numbers around 54-55 kg for the Apex motor, including everything, except exhaust and clutch. The weight of the reduction gears can't be much, 1-2 kg:s, maybe?

    Stock Phazer Dyno'd - HP/Torque.

No, horsepower is always constant, except for friction losses. So just measure power against engine rpm, doesn't matter with of without gear reduction, and then calculate the torque.

    Phazer Turbo?

Well, it's like having 210 hp in a Genesis 120. Not impossible.

    Supercharger!

With lose, I mean of course compared to a theoretical max and not compared to the standard engine. I've read that turbos are said to cost 1% and superchargers a little over 5%, so a turbo engine giving 198 hp would give 200 hp if there were no losses and the same supercharged engine will give...

    Turbo Compression Calculator

Maybe it depends on the pump? (here in Sweden premium is 98, and regular 95) RON(Research Octane Number), MON(Motor Octane Number) or PON(Pump Octane Number)? In Europe it is usualy RON and in US it is PON, I think. In Canada I don't know. Short on the subject...

    Supercharger!

Does anyone know which supercharger they are using? I'm thinking about using a supercharger on an RS Vector so it is really nice to see that it is actually possible. Maybe you don't need the benefits of a supercharger, such as no lag and boost at low RPMs, on a sled, but it would be nice to...
