If you look at the other tracks in the ski doo picture, they have two skis not one.

Looks like a couple vipers put together into one. 2014 blue plastics with the black tunnel and black lower panels from a 2014 red viper, but with blue rails and tuner skis from a 2015.

I was tearing my sled down today and noticed each of the 3 pipes coming off the engine were dented in. So much so that the close off plate is worn in from the pipe rubbing on it. Does anyone know what the record is or if there is a record for most miles ridden on a snowmobile in one day on a trail system? not a closed course or track.

I bought one last year and I'm not impressed at all. It's pretty good at not fogging up unless it's super cold but the shield scratches super easy and snow dust gets in through the vents so much that it clings to the inside of the shield until you can't see through it. I wouldn't buy another one.

Bought my 2013 new and now has 10814 miles. Needed a water hose replaced because it had a slow leak.

No I work full time all year round. I rode very weekend since the middle of December and I took a couple Fridays off for trips to the UP. I don't even want to know what I spent in gas, food, and hotels lol

This year will probably be my best season ever. Put on 6100 miles. Hope I can beat it but the winters are pretty hit and miss

It is supposed to have the hole cut in the bottom. I don't think snow will ever get in there but even if it does it still has to go through the screen on the inside of the air box. I haven't had any problems with mine

If you buy the hurricane hindle kit it's comes with the air box lid thats part of the mod. The mod consists of three holes on the lid with frog skins over them and then a 4" hole in the bottom of the air box that you do yourself with a 4" hole saw.

Tuner skis are one piece. If they say with loops make sure they are actually tuners rather than another ski that has separate loops

Is there any way to set the miles on that guage so when you put it on it shows the correct miles of the sled?

Your viper will probably handle better but I think the nytro will be better at just about everything else. I rode my dad's 04 viper last year and could not wait to get back on my xtx.

I was thinking the same thing when I ordered it. I was excited for it to get here before I went on my first trip to the u.p. and it did end up getting here in time. I was disappointed with it since day one.
