I just follow the manual for storage. always have and never had an issue. I wont start them until its time to ride. well I week or so before to get things dialed in.
Yes, Arctic Cat owns it. My Nytro ran flawless, started perfect, idled perfect, had more power. From what I was told by my dealer is they're (CAT) is trying to get it back to the Nytros tuning. But, at the end of the day Yamaha should be doing something about this. I have already started looking...
I'm going to all coilovers over the summer. Just couldn't justify it right after purchase of sled. I'm either going fox qs3 or axis. Undecided. Which ones are you going with?
The rear linkage and dual pressure made the most difference. And yes it was night and day. Stutters bumps are gone! I hated the ride before I did this mod to the point of selling a brand new sled. My own fault for not doing more research on the xtx being non coupled but I'm glad I stuck it out...
I definitely noticed performance gain. Midrange mostly and it seems to keep pulling up top. Although mine started first try in the mornings before (now 2) it starts more consistent while warm as before it was it and miss. I'm glad I did it.
I put the curves on 15 xtx. By far the best thing I've ever done! I no worry about what my sled might do in every corner. 350-400 miles on them and I still can believe it.
Just curious what you guys are running for air pressures? I have them on the front and the rear with the hygear linkage. I think I have it pretty good now but I'm always looking for better. I ride mostly trails and I am a pretty light rider (180 with gear). I'm at Front: 55/120 Rear: 165/225
I...
Just got back from ridding my 2015 xtx 200miles after the flash. Takes 2 attempts first try in the morning and then 1 all day flawless. Idle surge is still there just not as bad. My speedo seems to be accurate still. I do notice more pull through midrange and too end. I talked to my dealer after...
So I have a 2015 xtx with 800 miles on it now. I do mostly trail ridding 75/25. I have added the hygear cans on the front and rear floats, the linkage, and dual rate center. I also have curve skis. I have the sled pretty dialed for an xtx on the trails. This last weekend the trails were about as...
Hey guys, so my brother and I were ridding for about 100 miles when his sled just died. He said it threw code p0261. I looked it up on my phone to see it was "cylinder 1 circuit low". Not really being able to do anything about it, I towed it back to the trailer which was only a 1/2 mile. He...
I just put the first 100 miles on my new curves. I also installed them with the stock rubbers and it seemed ok to me. Maybe I tad bit of darting, Maybe I will try the new rubbers from curve. I cant believe the difference from the tuner skis. I have a 15' XTX and it pushed so bad, it was 50/50...
How does it handle the bumps with those? I am running the hygear linkage also but with the float 3s and hygear dual pressure. Made a world of difference. I just installed the adjustable dual rate springs for the front center. I have the dual pressures coming for front floats and curve skis for...
