Yamaha Mountain Ski - anyone try on a 137" SW?

It will work and should act similar to the cat ski. I was told by the Yamaha tech and design rep it was what he uses on his winder and loves it.

    Help setting up suspension

My wife has taken over my 16 viper Se this year and we cant seem to get it set up to her liking. She is complaining about the steering push and ski lift in the corners. I installed the BOP MPS system for her as well in order to reduce steering effort. Was planning on a cat ski upgrade as well...

    2019 Clutch updates

Per the design team member from Yamaha there was an update to the 19's Helix , primary and secondary springs rivets and weight changes. Goal was to produce less belt tension to prevent belts blowing. There will be no recall on the 17 or 18 models however as not all machines were blowing belts...

    SRX in Ottawa today?

I was there and it was there. I did not ask how much faster it was more so about its handling . It is suppose to handle much better with the lower centre of gravity. I was told its nice in the turns. I wouldn't expect more than 10 mph difference out of it though. It is a nice machine. I had a...

    Be careful out there...

Not trying to minimize what actually happened but those sleds look to be in pretty good shape given what happened ! What damage did you have to your winder ?

    Power Surge

I spring ordered mine. I negotiated a price, had two thousand knocked off the top got the three year warranty and extras that come along with it. All in all i paid probably about the same factoring it all in that a 17 left over would have cost with an added warranty tacked on. I am happy with it...

    Be careful out there...

Criminal code applies anywhere but him " losing control" or merely driving to fast does not meet the grounds for dangerous operation. An independent witness would be needed to explain how reckless he was driving prior to the collision.

Good day out on the trail

No haven't shimmed them yet.. I started and it was a pain so with time being sparse I left the shims for another day. I ended up with just the 4 inch due to a dealer ordering error and again being down to the wire for time. I will be going up to 6 inch for sure, next round after I install these...

Good day out on the trail

Just to post something positive on here I wanted to share my day out on the trail. After a long 600 km haul the previous week I finally took the time and installed my cat skis paired with Woody's slim jims. Hit the trail in the morning around 10 am with my wife and father in law. Wife was out...
