Just installed the DDM tuning HID headlights on an XTX and one of them doesnt fire up until I shut the sled off and then turn it on again. No matter what it starts on the second try. Any suggestions?? Thanks!

Was trying to grease the suspension on one of my XTX's and noticed that the front pivot was at an angle I couldn't get the grease gun in at... After further notice I compared the two sleds and they are totally different as far as the angle of the front pivot. This may be a stupid question but...

Am away from my sled and was wondering if anyone knew the diameter of the handlebars so I can order a GPS mount? Was looking at the RAM mount or are there any other good options? Thanks :Rockon:

Bought a pair of tuner skis on black Friday special with 6" and 4" carbides. Also put the OFT relocator on at the same time. I have 144 studs in the center. HOLY SKI LIFT BATMAN!!! How can I tame this combination? Go 4" and 0"?? I have woody's now but do they sell just a plain bar for this...

Recently have been seeing a lot of tunnel decals for sale. Has anyone tried these out yet? I would think they would scratch or rip easily just from where they are located by your feet. Any feedback would be great!!!! :Rockon:

Buying a new battery for an XTX and was wondering which side the pos terminal is on when mounted or does it not matter? The battery i'm looking at can have the pos terminal on the right or left. Mine is still in storage and wanted to buy a battery before I get to it. Thanks :Rockon:

Only have heard good things so far about the Excell X Wheels kit for the Nytro XTX. Although most reports say they just got them, and had a few hundred miles and they look good. Wondering if there are any long term results for this kit before I throw down the money. Just went through a set...

Like to change out the drain bolt gasket when I change the oil in the nytro. Anyone have the part number for this, or the microfiche section to look at online?? Thanks :Rockon:

Wondering the correct way to adjust the front shocks. The only adjustment I see is to compress or let out the front spring. I'm trying for a softer ride. I let the spring out quite a bit but that seems to make the front end really low. I can't even get my dolly underneath the front end when...

Will the Yamaha 08-09 only tunnel protector kit fit the 07? I don't understand why it is only for these 2 years. They didn't fill the back hole I thought until 09 so it shouldn't have anything to do with that. It's alot of money but just wnated another option before I use hyfax as tunnel...

Wondering if the plastic on the newer phazers will fit the 07's that have a long strip of rubber where the tank hits the tunnel. :Rockon:

Anyone have any problems using a regular manual rivet gun for ss rivets?? I heard you must use a pnuematic gun for ss. Anyone with experience in this let me know. I have a Morson HP-2 riveter and am ready to put the close off plate on my phazer.. :Rockon:

I too was one that could not get any grease into the bottom rear zerk fitting. The fix for me was to loosen the bolts on the side of the skid like someone else suggested. Worked like a charm. Just letting people know to try this before doing something major. :Rockon:

Just wondering if anyone has actually changed a different brand of oil filter other than the K&N 147 and the Yamaha brand... When people cross reference the filter they may have the same thread but are too big to fit the small area. :o|

I thought I read somewhere that the supertech 6607 is a direct replacement for the yamaha filter. I just tried one and it doesn't fit in the opening. It is a little longer than the oem. Probably just should have went with that..... :o|

Is the new silver bottle yamalube the same as the older style black bottle that says 4S?? They both say 0W-30 API/SJ. The new one is 1 quart, the old is 1 liter.

Was wondering if anyone knew the exact color Yamaha uses for their frames, a silver color. I did a search and it seams people mostly guess at it. Yamaha must have the color specified somewhere so people can touch up areas.
