Yamalube bottle change?/

Is the new silver bottle yamalube the same as the older style black bottle that says 4S?? They both say 0W-30 API/SJ. The new one is 1 quart, the old is 1 liter.

they have 2 different ones one 0-30 semi and 0-40 full
they are the same they changed bottles

I see they went from 1 Liter to 1 Quart bottles. Of course you are now getting less oil for the same money..

By .057 qt. Not a big difference. I use Amsoil anyways.

That's weird. I suppose in Japan they use metric (like the rest of the world, except the good old 'States), and measure oil by the liter, not quart!



I always thought all oil was sold in quarts. I know Amsoil is. I just never checked/ never use Yamalube!

Every bottle is shorted about 50ml. That's 1 free bottle for Yamaha for every 20 sold. That's great marketing.
