05 vector exhaust

At the end of last season my exhaust pipe broke,and as I normally do, I took it all apart right away and didn't start fixing it until last wknd. My question is how far down from the top of the tunnel is the pipe supposed to be? I had to saws all it out and don't remember where it sat.

About 1/2 an inch or so. Pipe should not make contact with the tunnel, and the bottom needs to be above the tunnel protectors.
