Interesting video I came upon. Compares Amsoil, Mobil 1, Royal Purple and Walmart. Mobil 1 did very well while Walmart was terrible. While we don't use Royal Purple or Walmart oil or 5w30 in our sleds, it's still good to see this comparison.

It was more the comparison between the brands that was important here . I use 0w40 Mobil 1 since forever.

I wonder if the smaller neck on the Amsoil bottle made a difference? Seems to me like he should have put them all in identical containers before the test but the Walmart oil could have been in a beer stein and it still would have lost! I feel even better about putting Mobil 1 in the sled now.
