Ok, im finally putting my nytro back together after overheating last year. Here is my problem. First, its an 08 rtx. I am having trouble finding where the wire harness from reverse switch goes. The harness that comes off of the 2 pin reverse switch that indicates its in reverse has 2 2 pin plugs on it. A larger one that is actually a 3 pin plug but only has 2 wires in it and they are blue with red tracer, and black. I have located the plug that that one connects into but not the one for the smaller 2 pin plug that has a pink and a blue w red tracer on it. Someone please help its been holding my up for past 2 days!!!
If someone would be kind enough to check their sleds out to see where that second plug goes i would greatly appreciate it.
I tried to post a pic of 2 plugs on the harness but would not upload. Said file too big.
Love this site, tons of info on here. Have helped me numerous times but i cannot find anything on the reverse switch wiring. And the wiring diagram doesnt help cause it doesnt show where it plugs into.
Thank you in advance

Hello,
Thanks for your help. I was thinking that but for some reason i do not have a back up alarm that i can find. And being that that is in circuit with tail lights and tail lights or brake lights do not work. I am thinking that it had to be plugged in to something before, to complete circuit for tail to work. Cause im positive they worked before. Can you tell me where beeper is mounted?

Should be right where the reverse linkage is, just below the reverse handle...

Ok, apparently i never had one, cause when i installed my hid's last year thats where i mounted the control box. So i need to figure out why my tail lights arent working with that plug not plugged in. If the beeper not being plugged in is even the cause!##@!.
Does anyone know if the tail and brake depend on that beeper being plugged in to work??
I greatly appreciate all your guys' help.

No. Check your grounds and under fuel tank is connector going back to tail light. Check those wires under tank for rubbing or broken wires.

Here are some pics from my 08' RTX. The 1st one is the pink and blue with red trace wire connector. This connector plugs right into the reverse buzzer which is mounted on the inside of right side radiator bracket.. The 2nd pic shows the buzzer. The 3rd pic is the tail lamp harness connector which is located behind the right side black gas tank panel and were it meets the reverse handle trim plate. Let me know if you have any other questions or would like to see additional pics. G.B.
