Here is my problem.. i have an 08 rtx.. I am a big dude.. over 300 with gear. I have been playing with the tightness of my track.. Loose it up and it ratchets terrible but my top end increased by about 10 mph.. I tighten it up to the point where the track just stops ratcheting and i top out at 92 mph.. where is the happy medium. Is there anything i could change to resolve this problem

Yes, but it's not simple, and costly if you have to get another track. Do a search for "extroverts".

extroverts kill your top end

add two sets of marginal snow wheel kits, one at bend in rails and one in middle of rail. reduces friction and will give a little better top end.

extroverts
I've heard this before but I don't believe it. I had them on my RX1 and they helped acceleration alot. I let off the throttle at about 123. Also X package revs have them, all other doo's don't - they all have about the same top end from my experience.
Running the track extremely loose will kill top end because it will balloon
