Whats the Canadian price of the 2009 Nytro XTX??

TBA They are wondering OK now what do we do this sled has been built with a stronger Cnd dollar. How do we squeeze the most out of the Canadian consumer? Do we charge the same as the USA or do we actually sell a sled in Canada for a less price than the USA? Or do we try to hold out for more money from the Canadians and deal with their wrath?

par baby par, time to step up to the plate !

They are prolly hoping the canadian dollar will drop between now and then LOL

Bout time we got em by the short curlys...

ain't gonna happen, can you say Euro !

Most likely a high retail like the MTX in Canada, but with the same kinda cash rebates or incentives. Was already in the dealer today to find out price and they have no idea!!!

They should go to par and help the Canadian dealers, It's really not right they are getting the shaft atleast we have the choice to go buy state side

I agree with you Daranello, unfortunately with a volatile market like the us dollar they need to price the sleds accordingly! If they put the prices where we would like to see them then the us dollar went up, they would in turn put the price up! seems pretty straight forward, however what will happen when the canadian price goes back up where it needs to be there will be a sharp decrease in sales. It would be like paying $10,000 grand one year for the sled then the next year the same sled is $14,000 with no improvements. So what they do is keep the retail high and offer incentives!

what people cant seems to understand is even with a par dollar, they may have to charge more in Canada.

The 2 countries have different corporate tax rates

It is not just sleds that support the 2 North American companies.
Most of that is done with Motorcycles, ATV's and watercraft not sleds.
Canada has about 1/10th the population if I remember correctly, so it might be a fair assumption that Canada has 1/10th the gross revenues vs the US.

So not only is the cost of doing business more, the costs of the units price out higher to pay for the infrastructre of Yamaha Canada because less units are sold.
