just as i was hitting the throttle on my 07 apex and it just shut right off like i hit the kill switch and it wouldnt stat back up. i cant hear the fuel pump when i turn the key on but i hear the click of the fuel pump relay, i checked the two 10 amp fuses by the battery box and they are fine as well as the male and female end next to fuses which was a little corroded but not too bad. Is the fuel pump bad on it?

thats what i did, i warmed it up and even switched the 3 around and it still wont work
You sure you warmed them all up. If that fuel pump does not cycle its either the relay or battery.

ill let it sit over night in the house but i pretty sure its warmed up cause i had it in front of the heater, and the reason why i dont think its the battery is cause i was running perfect then it just died randomly

Ya I second everyone it's the relay same thing happened to me last weekend. Thankfulky was at the cabin. Did you check the grounding blocks?I had two that faild in my Attak last year. Same thing happend to me. Just died on the trail. There are ground blocks., three I think, two for sure in the harness along the delta box frame. Cut the wires and soldered them together. No problems this year.

Hope this is the right section(first post)
The same thing happened to us last week.Went out last thursday started just fine(280km)on new 2013 machine.That night it got -20 c turned over just fine in the morning but would not catch.now i'm at a loss because this is my first 4 stroke,any way called dealer and he seemed to know right away what the problem was.Stuck fuel relay.He suggested warming them up with my hands or a hair dryer,just so happens the cabin we were in had an outside plug.Small amount of heat from the hairdryer and away she went.Never had the problem for the rest of the week and clocked 500km.Dealer replaced relay under warranty when we dropped in on the way home.Question is, if they know about this problem why not change the relay before the snow mobile leaves the showroom?Other than that the machine is awsome.

I just changed out my fuel pump relay for the solid state red one. I found it a bit aggravating to load the sled in my truck, drive to my destination, and when I'd go to unload my sled, the fuel pump relay wouldn't work and I'd have to remove the relay, warm it up and reinstall.

I had the exact same problem and this is my issue as well...could be a potential trip ruining situation for those who don't read the internet....like you, I was able to seek info and got going again.

Just a thought about the sticking fuel relay.Has anybody tried the hand warmers you put in gloves to warm up the relays?May work better than freezing your bare hands and get you out of a bind until the relay is replaced.
When i get my snow mobile back from its first checkup will not go anywhere without a couple of glove warmers as a "just in case".

I read the persons sled was running and then died. No pump when trying to start. Relay clicks but no pump.
Then it got turned into starter relay and pump relay. Both issues after shutting it down and restart or cold morning starts but the main issue is it quit and wont pump fuel. It seems it cranks over as no mention of not cranking so starter relay is not the issue. Pump relay it could be, but relays warmed and swapped takes that away so I'm guessing grounding blocks as per one poster. Heard of this before and for it to run then quit relay is not the usual culprit.
I'll add I would check to see if there is power to the pump, checking both positive and neg at the plug.

try unplugging the speed sensor below the secondary clutch. When the jackshaft bearing fails it causes the shaft to contact the sensor and shorts out killing the engine. Learned that one the hard way. Sled will run with it unplugged but bearing definitely needs to be replaced.
