did ya fella's watch 800 xp vs apex on youtube and what ya fellas think about it ?

i can tell you from real world experience
that my xp 800 gade, and my buddy's apex
are pretty close
never did a long lake type run against him..im sure he would walk away on the top end though

but in the rough stuff..forget about it

The apex got spanked, looks like he didn't try very hard tho.

It looked like he was sleeping on the line.... Plus, his weight transfer was at min and plus the conditions.... They were in like 5" of fresh snow. It was a joke.

I wonder how good that xp handles when you cant keep the skis on the ground.

i think that there are some fast 800xp's and ones that dont perform as well. i am 300 lbs dressed out and my buds 225 and i have never lost a race to him! same amount of studs in every racing position
drag, rolling start and top end. and we are both stock.

Go to the Ski-Don't web site and see the comparison of the XP vs. all the other sleds. It's a complete joke. The put a pro rider on the XP and must have told him he was in the Special Olympics when riding the other sleds. Bad acting!

You can see that he never had his weight transfer set up at all, because his skis were touching the snow at all times and his front end barly came up, i think with a proper rider on there and the suspension set up it would be alot closer.

Awesome! That's what I like to hear. Real World. I think I thought the XP was fast because of the ski lift and pull. Feeling the wind from your waist up makes it seem fast too. The speedo was showing 118 on the one I was on in hardpack conditions. What does your buddies show for speed?

The XP's speedo is like Yamaha's... From what I am reading, 118 is like 105-107GPS...

Seen one in live action next to me on my Attak and I'm a 280lb dressed. He got me out of the whole (barely) pulled away by 3-4 sleds and stayed there. Face it guys its one bad #*$&@ sled. I snow checked A Rev-XP Renegade I wish I had it HOWEVER I know how hard I ride and with the substantial weight loss I truley wonder just how well these things will stay together after a couple years. As for vibration....big yip like who cares when your rippin in the kick!!!! Boys its a real machine now lets just see for how long!!!

i like to be stuck to the ground on my apex gt,feel more stable, you would think the xp would be all over the place being so light.but i really don'nt know, like check one out!
