Has anybody put on rail extensions? Im thinking about doing it after my ditch ride today in 2-3 feet of blown in snow. Im use to my 04 doo 136 floating level. Short track nytro feels like Im always clawing my way out. Even blasting onto the top of deeper snow at warp speed doesnt help. Im sure Yamaha will have a 136 or so next year but I was planning on keeping this one a while. Also this is my first ripsaw track. Probably more of a trail performance track??????

The clutching will likely require a little adjustment (should be able to adjust via the rivets in the weights). I have complete kits in stock and if you don't like rail extensions I can also get 1 piece billet rails machined as well.

Like Paul said, the Cobra track looks like it will be a great trail/off trail track!
;)!

Do you feel the extentions will be as strong as the complete rail from Ulmer? If it was having the@#$#$# pounded out of it .

Phat bstard, the complete rail is probably slightly stronger, but I have yet to see the rail extension break in the 5+ years they have been around. With it tying into the OEM axle slot as well as the hyfax area they are pretty rugged.

Do they bolt into the rivet holes for the track adjustment bolts? Or do you solid rivet them in?

Thanks,

Steve Burdick
