Do you have a diagram to work off of?...also there is a little shim washer on the end of the shaft. Don't forget that or things won't work good either.

Has anyone used a aftermarket oil tank. I am looking at this one. http://www.cfmperformanceatv.com/untitled1.html My first one did the normal crack and I bought a used one and it was the same way. Don't feel like spending $150 or more on another cracked one if this aftermarket one is good...

There are a lot of threads on this if you can find them by searching. I personally use mobil one syn and wix or hasting filters.

I can honestly say besides hyfax I havent had to buy anything for my 4 stroke and only had to buy a oil pump for my old 600 twin...that is a big sales point to keep me on a yammy in the future.

As stated dont cost nothing to tear down..look around and see best way to fix. Might find a sled for a good price and recoupe a lot parting out this one.

The comments about the power of the attack_apex are spot on for me..I love the power...sometimes I miss the corner to corner of my wifes doo chassis until I ride it for a while...just not for me anymore...but with what you said about changing your riding style a litte and haveing something...

Last set of bars were thru ridge and krammer...we also added a double dampner stabalizer bar...cant remember the name brand off hand but I truely believe that is what helped it...I am doing a lot of work on my house right now but will try and get to dads this weekend and take a pic for you.

Not a lot of help but my dad has an 03 3500...developed the "death wobble" at 20,000 mile..played hell getting it fixed...did it again at 60,000 mile...played hell again...at 102,000 mile did it again...just out of warentee and would not help one bit...they said 11 front ends were better and...

Dont know where you are from but pats yamaha in greenland mi has a 07 attack gt 5700 miles $3500 bucks..I think that is a good deal..

Haven5 run snowtrakers myself because I am still waiting for my bergstoms to wear out. Lots of feedback that snowtrakers are getting comparable mileage to bergstoms with better handling response. Lots of money up front. Will outlast any other carbide by three times. Worth the investment.
