How much for the sled? They are pretty cheap around here if you can find one. I've seen them as low as $1300 + tax. I paid $1700 delivered by a small dealer with tax. Just sold it this year for $1300.

Have you ridden a rider forward sled? I guarantee that a rider with the same skills as you on a rider forward sled is gone within minutes if twisties are involved.

Yamaha full synthetic. Same price as the semi synthetic here in Canada.

No matter what you do it will NOT handle like the rider forward sleds. It's a common problem that lots of people keep throwing money at. I keep my Apex for high speed runs, not the twisties.

I agree. They do make that big a difference. Plus, they make the Yamaha able to carry some speed through corners.

I have both and hands down I would take the 1200. Give up some top speed to improve every other aspect of riding. Their is no way in hell that anyone with the same skill level will go by a 1200 with an Apex up to 80MPH especially if twisties and bumps are involved. Top speed, then for sure the...
