What are those certain things? have you had belt issues? I’ve been wanting to go rider forward as I am tall and like to stand in the rough stuff, especially since I herniated a disc a couple years ago. What you describe sounds like when I went from an 03 RX1 to the Apex. I loved the RX1 until...
I currently ride an 06 Apex GT studded with a clutch kit, I have been looking to upgrade to something easier to stand on for a tall guy and while I love the Apex, it’s starting to get boring. I’ve ridden a few vipers and liked them except for the lack of power and smooth acceleration as compared...
Well the Nytro xtx I was looking at is still for sale, in the mean time I took a new viper for a test spin. It had the 129" skid..now I'm really struggling to make a decision..
The biggest thing I'm afraid of is missing the power of the Apex. Rarely do I ride with anything stock that can touch it mid to top end. But I do like playing around, getting some air and riding hard in all trail conditions. That's why I have been interested in the Nytro and Viper for some time...
I am currently on a 2006 Apex GT, with a clutch kit. Absolutely love the sled, but it is heavy and not the most convenient for aggressive riding in rough trails. I'm looking a 09 and newer Nytros, would like to hear opinions that Nytro owners have. I ride aggressive and mostly on trails, I'm a...
When my Donuts went the sleds sound completely changed, it sounded like it was missing, I started to notice exhaust rolling up from under the hood right in front of my head light at night, I did the rag test and it didn't even hesitate. At 4500 miles I could have only made 1 full donut out of...
I'm 6'2 and with the original 03 seat as soon as I tried to ride hard my hips and knees would hurt from sitting so low. Still have the original seat in the corner of my garage, about to give it away because I'm sick of looking at it and hated it that much.
The ski shim does go under the rear of the rubber block, but it is used to force the back of the ski down more, not the front. Both of the Rx1's I had along with the Apex were forcing the front of the ski down so much that the back of the carbides hardly took any wear. I have had really good...
It is a common issue with early monoshock skids. There was a company who did repairs and beef up kits for these skids as well as powder coated them for a very reasonable price. I think they have stopped and there may be another company in the process of offering this if I remember right. Can't...
I run ring free, mine burns about a half of quart in 1,000 miles. That is on Mobile 1 0W 40, with that consumption rate I don't worry about it and run it, just check it every other ride.
Along with everyone else, I agree, worth every penny and minute. I just put a 2" riser on it with all stock cables. Just had to reroute some of them, I'm 6'2 I really need a taller riser but it's a spare sled now and spends mos of it's time in the trailer. I kept the Rx1 lights and trim...
