Hi guys ,
Unfortunately I had a close call last week on the first day of my trip with my Viper. I am fine thank God. But my viper took a hit to the left control arm. Control Arm looks straight. Rode the sled after adjusting tie rod for my new handling mod. LOL. I am thinking the sub frame is...
I have just rolled 3200 miles on my nytro xtx.
I have the springs turned up I think to much on the front. The limiter strap all the way out. The sled seems to high side or tip up a lot on the inside ski at any turn past 1/4 turn of the handle bars. I am running stock skis with 8" bergstorms...
Just got my shocks sent into hygear for revalve and twisted triple rates. I might have them do a hi.lo comp added to the rear shock.
Dad offered to get me into some simmons Gen 1 skis because he loves his on his viper. I am not sure if I will continue to run the JRE kit.
Anyone else running...
Well I have got 1400 miles in on my nytro so far.
Did two 400mi trips to the UP and I am starting to look at other sleds. Primarily 1200 ski doo's. I got the Nytro for a few reasons and now even with my mods I am questioning how many more dollars it will take to make this thing a real...
I spent the weekend in the UP trails were awesome, love my sleds engine just need to get my steering honed in.
I have curve ski's with 6" round bar . I have max preload on front skis, and limiter strap sucked in 3 holes rear torsion on soft.
Sled should have loads of ski pressure but I think...
Did a gusset kit before I join the bent sub frame club.
Here is some footage of how to weld up the wimpy subframe.
Some pics to follow.

Winding trail (s curve ) sign
ALL CHEVRON"S
two way traffic
Narrow Bridge
I believe this makes it inherently more dangerous to ride...
K I rode 340 miles in the UP this weekend.
I froze my finger tips off all weekend looks like I am buying a yama heater . Cant believe they suck so bad. Only time I had any warmth at all was 2 times when my thumb warmer decided to warm up. I also rode with no hand guards. Are the stock guards...
I myself like really thin Mechanic's gloves many prefer the opposite the leather or heavily insulated gloves.
Just thought I would take a poll out of curiosity .
Post if you have a favorite pair or brand of gloves.
Pray for some snow guys!

I got graced with the first snow fall of the season in Mid Michigan. Got to ride my nytro xtx 3.5 miles. Sled had 740 mi on it . At one point I was into the throttle 1/4 and just squeezing it some more. The engine light came on and the sled lost power and would not allow me to accelerate for a...
Well I am back on a yamaha. First 4 stroke and first long track. I am coming off my 05 rev 800. I am on a budget cause I am still in college. I picked up a 09 xtx and have spent too many hours already reading on ty. I already am in love with my nytro. I love the exhaust note. Well I have read a...
Put on some miles in the UP of Michigan this weekend. Rode 240 miles on Friday and 110 on Saturday. I experienced some decent riding to excellent. Unfortunately my 800 is still not impressing me at all. I did a compression test and found 145 psi on both cylinders and just installed a DJ clutch...
