I know the float skid into a Nytro has been beat to death but I have & will share the front mount template produced by Yamaha. Yamaha actually made a light weight float retro-fit conversion kit for the Nytro MTX. As typical from Yamaha this kit was way over priced & the light weight kit was too...
So with living in Southern WI & riding WI trails & off trail in the UP my 153 AC float skid is just over kill. I've decided to down size it to a 141 Float skid. To simplify the process & still have the option to run the 153 I'm just swapping the rails out & putting a shorter tunnel extension...
I posted this ins the MTN section & thought I would post it here as well.
Ok guys I'm looking for your input on this one good or bad. So a few years back I did a huge build on my Nytro (with Push turbo) & put a 153 AC float skid under it with a PC 2.6 & a ton of other mods. It turned out great...

Last year I ran my stock Nytro MTX mountain skis with 9" shapers & all seemed fine. I did a little trading with a friend & now I also have a set of the C&A MTX skis with 9" shapers. Do I put the C&As on or run the stockers? Can anyone compare for me.
I believe the ballast to my right head light has burned up. I can swap the bulbs and the one on the left side always works. I also checked power to the ballast and I'm good there but nothing coming out of it. So in my mind it's bad. Now here is my second problem I have no idea who's kit it is or...
Cracked my z Broz a arm last weekend. Went up a steep "dirt" bank (snow was all blown off) & under full compression on the front end the carbide hooked a rock or something & pulled it to the outside. Snap the arm cracked were the ball joint plate & tubes are welded together. Z Broz stood behind...
I have a boosted 2011 Nytro MTX (push turbo 8lbs) and I'm getting ready to update my stock drives to either Avids of Wahl brothers and not sure which to go with. I'm sticking with the 153" track so the stock 3" pitch 7 tooth drives work again just want the one piece anti-ratchet & replace mine...
So I have the AC M series 153 skid in my Nytro and was trying to find some base lines for air pressure on the rear track Float shocks and not much luck. From what I can remember last year I was running 175 in the front track shock and 200 in the extra volume style rear (see picture). Does this...
So I got my oil change all done, (thanks to the guys that posted on my question before) but now my warning light is on solid not flashing and when I press and hold the reset button I get the word "OIL" and then the number "00409" flashing? I do have a Vector gauge on my Nytro but everything has...
OK so I changed my oil & yes filter! Plus read a ton of post & think I'll be OK just adding all the oil into the oil can, is this true? I just have to ask, much easier that replacing s motor. Thanks on advance
This maybe a dumb question for some but I'm unsure, So I just got a new YTZ10S for my Nyrto to save on weight & I know the +/- terminals were on opposite sides from the stock one. Since the battery is a sealed battery can I mount it on its side like this:
or does it have to be up right like...
I was told by a reliable source you can drill and tap an aftermarket temp sensor into your stock Nytro T-stat housing. You just drill out the center of passageway in the pictured casting boss and then tap it for your sensor (see picture). Has anyone else done this and how did it work?

So I'm brand new to the Nytro 4 stroke and even Yami game. Always been a Polaris guy and still am but they can't make a 4 stroke to save their lives and that's why I got the Nytro. About three quarters away through the season I bought a 2011 Nytro MTX with a Push Turbo and AC M8 153" float skid...
I need some information / insight on which might be better for me and yes I've read all the post and couldn't find what I was looking for. I have a 2011 Nytro MTX with a M8 153 skid under it, a push turbo and it will be getting the OFT relocate kit this weekend,I live in WI and do 80% trail and...
