    Ohlins EC solenoid!

Has anyone replaced this solenoid and if so how was the solenoid removed. It looks like you could just use something thin to get under the cap and pry it out! Has anyone updated this themselves and if so any advise would be greatly appreciated.

    Front Shock Question

There are two silver lock collars on the Apex GT. One of them is on the top side of the threads. The other is down against the spring. Seems to me both should be down against the spring and against each other. Can someone give me an idea as to which way it should be! Thanks

    TOP SPEED!

I had my Apex GT out in a large field day before yesterday. I was running it back and fourth several times and in a half mile run. I managed to get it up to just over 100 indicated. So I decided to go back home and plug the GPS in. I went back to the field with the GPS mounted and ran...

    Suspension Question!

Last night I took my Apex GT for its maiden voyage. To me the machine feels like a heavier steer than the Vector I rode last winter. Is there adjustments to lighten up the front or should leave it and keep my launch flatter. It hooked up and transfered very well and seemed like it wanted to...

    Food For Thought! DZUS D-Ring

This is just a suggestion but the D-rings on the new Apex/Attack side panels should be stowed in the aft position.

    Beware of the Mice!!

Make sure you take a good look at your sled often. It seems like there is something about the yamaha foam that these guys really love. Lucky for my wife I detected some pieces of foam flying out of the sled when I started up her new Vector GT. The mice had started chewing on the foam on both...

    RS90GT

I picked up my wife's Vector GT yesterday. What beautiful machine! Total eye candy! My wife doesn't think she will be able to keep the chrome windshield on because she will not be able to see the ski tips. So it looks like we will either trade it out or buy a clear shield and keep the chrome...

    Snowmobile GPS

    Sept. Issue of Snow Tech!

A very nice write up about the Apex in the Sept. issue of Snow Tech magazine says that there will be a very happy bunch of Apex owners! They just rant and rave over the new EFI 4 stroke. They say there is not much dectectable difference between the Apex and the 170 hp+ Mach Z until your into...

    Ergo's

I have read a few threads about the switches on the newer Yamahas. Since my newest sled is the 02 Viper I was wondering how everyone liked the newer switch ergo's. I have never given it too much thought but it could be a more important issue on the Apex with the new riding position. It will...
