Yes I agree you need to rebuild them and re-charge them with nitrogen I had new seals and oil put in mine and recharged it was just like new but it's best to have it done by someone that knows how to do them and has the proper tools the guy charged me $80 which I thought was very fair .
Check that you did not break a carbide it happened to me , I also had a rubber come out like Grizz said. Put new ones in and stearing like a dream, I really like them anyway.

Warm your sled up 10 mins, then shut it off let it sit for 10 to 15 seconds then Unscrew the cap wipe the dipstick clean, place it back in without screwing in and check your level should be between the low and high simple and easy Pezzy. That is from the manual just like birdmayon posted .
Just did mine as well once the set screws out the bearing popped right off replaced it with the new one, buttoned her back together and ready to rock just need some dam snow here to test drive before we do the RAP in Feb.
Lol sorry fellas that is my drive shaft bearing in the jack shaft bearing part box , I changed them both and threw the jacks haft bearing out it was junk.
This seat is worth every penny it so far is the best upgrade I have done on my 2012 it definitely saves your knees on a long trip your body will love you for it this new seat raises you about 2 1/2 inches the downside is the Canadian dollar but in your case your American so your good to go lol...

The jack shaft bearing is easy to replace mine had to Allen screws holding the bearing
