Sorry for posting here, but I can't seem to log into the regular ty forum section. I have three Bravos. and was wondering the what the model years are. The vin numbers are 8R4, 88Y and 86A. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks. Jeff

88Y = 1991? Is this a long track, The only prefix that starts with 88 for a Bravo would be a 1991 long track
86A = 1989

No. Its a short track. I will check again. maybe the second 8 is actually a 3. thanks for the help!

Is there any catalog,website,book,etc to locate or breakdown vin numbers of older vintage yamahas? I have some bravos now for the kids, but would like to get other models in the future and it would be great to get all of the info I could. Thanks for the help. I love this site!
