Thanks, Iam sure after riding my 2024with EPS its going to have to go on the 2017..$1100 to $2000 depending where you buy and if you buy Yamaha (cheaper) vs Arctic Cat parts.

Anyone with a Sidewinder and a Viper can tell me if the Viper air box is going to be a problem either for the steering unit or the upper steering shaft ? Seriously thinking of putting this on my 7000.

Folks there is one more part that is important. It stops the steering post from over turning (and straining the EPS). It goes under the 1605-154 new shorter block and the steering post bottoms out on it.The "how to" is very involved. If I do another conversion, I'll take some pics and measurements to post. Sorry guys...

Tcat i just looked up that part and it shows that only one is needed but your parts list shows qty of 2 ?Folks there is one more part that is important. I will be installing factory SW eps on my Viper, so I've studied both sleds very closely, and it looks to me like everything should just clear the airbox. I believe that, at the very most, the front RH corner of the airbox edge may need to be trimmed slightly to clear the eps motor, but I don't think so.Anyone with a Sidewinder and a Viper can tell me if the Viper air box is going to be a problem either for the steering unit or the upper steering shaft ? Fingers crossed!

Please take some pictures of the brackets in the chassis without the steering booster and also get good hole drilling measurements and/or a drill template. I will have the sled apart this summer to have the driveshaft spray welded for a bearing press fit.
