I started blowing head light fuses,and need a good place to start to fix the problem.Help would be appreciated

why would that have an effect?

I have seen a bulb that shorts out. Not very common, but I have seen it. Also check the harness didn't touch the exhaust.why would that have an effect?

I do. Havent checked under bar pad .Heat shield not problem,as blew fuse when not using.I know there is no damage from micedo you have a https://totallyamaha.net/forums/ account rdduck?

Heat shield connection is connected to the light system, as it was out along with tach and fuel gauge when fuse blew
